WELCOME TO HYMS EMU

The HYMS EMU is operated by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. It was originally set up as a Clinical Research Facility with funding from the National Institute for Health Research, and since September 2012 has been funded independently by York Teaching Hospital NHSFT.

Opened in 2009, HYMS EMU provides facilities for researchers with the support of an experienced team of research nurses.

It is dedicated to early phase clinical and translational research that will deliver maximum patient benefit across a wide range of diseases and conditions.
