This website is maintained by the HYMS Experimental Medicine Unit, a part of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and its content is intended to give an overview of the Unit's work.
At the time of writing, clinical trials carried out in the United Kingdom are subject to The Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and to subsequent Amendment Regulations. The work of the HYMS Experimental Medicine Unit is carried out with approvals on a per study basis from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, the North and East Yorkshire Alliance R&D Unit, and relevant Regional Ethics Committees. Our practices may be revised from time to time in order to comply with these statutory instruments and authorities.
